Impressions (June 2, 2024)
Smelled rather like
Balkan Supreme in the jar.
Went out to my usual
Sunday smoking spot to try this.
Broken-flake cut is
annoying. But I could have rubbed out the flake, so
there's that.
Difficult to light this
tobacco, and to keep it lit. Very reluctant to bite,
but will do so when pushed.
There is a mellow-sweet
taste to Lancer Slices that I also get from Balkan
Supreme. The taste does not seem very complex to me.
There is a bready aftertaste.
Leathery, smoky, woody,
citrusy smell that is somewhat pleasant.
Not much nicotine. I
like that.
This could be an
all-day smoke for some. It's mild in strength, and I
like how inexpensive this tobacco is. However, I just
don't much care for how it tastes, at least for now,
and it isn't very complex. I think Balkan Supreme is
better. This blend may grow on me. Three stars for
now. It just seems mediocre, not eye-(or is it
tongue-?)catching.
