Impressions (May 21 and June 2, 2024)
Smells just delicious in
the jar. I almost want to eat the tobacco.
Upon lighting I am greeted by the most wonderful smell
I've ever gotten from an aromatic. It's just
chocolate-forward like nothing else.
There is a very mild taste of chocolate on the
retrohale. But that doesn't matter, because you'll be
smelling strong notes of chocolate while you're smoking.
Boy, does it smell good.
The tobacco takes a light well, chugs along well, and
produces great plumes of smoke. It's a Black Cavendish
alright.
Some people dislike how simple this blend is. But to me,
that doesn't matter. This tobacco just smells wonderful.
Perhaps I'm too much a chocolate man, white in skin as I
am. I simply can't get enough of that smell. It doesn't
pretend to complexity, but one doesn't always need
sophistication. It delivers on the chocolate note, and
it's just a knock out of the park. This could be an
all-day smoke for me (though I don't smoke all-day, or
even every day).
I just wish I could taste the chocolate as much as I
could smell it. For all this, Chocolate Mousse gets four
and a half stars.
